Dream animals
Animals are the oldest content in the dream record and still among the most reported. What separates them from objects is that they act: an animal in a dream has intentions attributed to it, and whether it approached, fled, attacked or was simply present changes the report completely. These pages take the behaviour as seriously as the species, and are clear that a shared cultural reading of an animal is a fact about the culture rather than about the dream.
