Dreaming about library
Libraries are among the calmest settings people report, and the reports are dominated by two things: an impossible amount of shelving, and the inability to read anything on it.

Psychological perspectives
The text instability is well documented and is the practical heart of this entry: a dream cannot generate a page of stable prose, so a library is a building full of unreadable objects.
The impossible extent is ordinary spatial construction. Nothing constrains how far shelving goes because nothing is modelling the building.
The calm is harder to account for and the entry does not invent a reason. It is a genuine pattern in the reports.

Libraries as repositories of what is known carry weight in a number of traditions, and the idea of a complete library, or a book containing everything, recurs in literature and in religious material.
