Dreaming about a library that goes on forever
What does it mean to dream about endless bookshelves?
Scale is the first thing dreamers report, and they report it without alarm, which is the notable part.
Shelving continues past where a building could contain it. Aisles do not end. Levels appear that the exterior could not hold. Nobody in the dream objects, and the dreamer usually does not either.
This is the impossible-space pattern again, and libraries are among the calmest settings it appears in. Compare the endless station, which is neutral, and the endless corridor, which is oppressive. The same geometry produces very different dreams depending on what the space is for.
Quiet is reported unprompted here, exactly as it is for snow, and dreamers frequently describe the silence as the atmosphere of the whole dream.
Where this reads well
Among the most pleasant settings people report, and one of the few impossible spaces that is enjoyed rather than endured.
Where it is harder
None commonly reported.
Worth asking yourself
How far did it go? Was it quiet? Did I mind that it was impossible?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
