Dreaming about being chased by someone you know
What does it mean to be chased by a friend or family member?
A named pursuer changes the dream more than any other variable. The fear is the same; what people carry into the morning is not.
Reports of this version are dominated by the awkwardness afterwards: the difficulty of looking at someone normally when your sleeping mind cast them as the thing to run from. That reaction is extremely common and worth naming, because people are often embarrassed by it.
