Dreaming about wind pushing you back
What does it mean to dream you cannot walk against the wind?
Force is the characteristic report here, and wind is one of the few things in a dream felt more than seen.
Dreamers describe being pushed, leaning into it, and making no progress. That last part places these with the effort-without-effect family, exactly as deep snow and thick mud do: the dream supplies a reason for legs that are not producing distance.
What makes wind different from the others is that the resistance is described bodily, against the chest and the face, and dreamers report the sensation more clearly than they report anything visual.
Where the dreamer is lifted off the ground, that is a different report and sits between this material and the flying dreams.
Where this reads well
The bodily detail is unusually vivid, which makes these good dreams to practise describing precisely.
Where it is harder
The same as every movement failure: in a chase it is among the worst things that can happen.
Worth asking yourself
Where did I feel it? Did I get anywhere? Was I trying to reach something?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
