Why can I feel movement in a dream?
Reported, convincing, and worth its own scenario because it is one of the few settings where dreamers describe a floor moving under them.
The sense of balance does not switch off with the rest, and dreams can produce motion where they produce very little else. Falling is the other place this shows up strongly, and it is the most reported dream sensation there is.
That is a short list. Dreams generate sound sparingly, smell almost never and pain rarely, but movement arrives fully formed.
Where the dreamer is genuinely unwell, or has an inner-ear problem, that is worth mentioning to a doctor rather than logging here, since real vertigo reaches sleep as readily as real sound does.

A rare, vividly rendered sensation, and unusual enough to record carefully.
Where it is harder
Where it persists into waking, that is worth taking seriously rather than interpreting.

Could I feel the movement, or see it? Did it continue after waking? Do I get vertigo?
