What does it mean to dream a well is empty?
A smaller group and reported as more unsettling than a full one, which is the expectation-violation pattern again.
Nothing is wrong. There is simply no water where water should be, and dreamers report unease out of proportion to an absence.
This database finds the same thing repeatedly: the empty chair, the drained swimming pool, the city with nobody in it, the room too clean to have been empty as long as it has. None of them contain a threat and all of them are reported as eerie.
The rule that emerges is worth carrying: an absence where something is expected reliably produces more unease than a presence that is hostile.
