What does it mean to dream your card will not work?
A frequently reported group, and the failure is always at the point of completion.
Cards that do not work, money that is the wrong currency, a total that keeps changing, notes that turn out to be something else. Dreamers describe holding up a queue, and describe the queue noticing.
Shops in dreams are transaction dreams, and the transaction almost never completes. That is the structure of the whole record, and payment is where it is most visible.
The changing total is the text problem in numeric form: a figure that will not survive being looked at twice. The money entry carries the rest of this ground.
