What does it mean to dream your shadow acts independently?
Rare, and where it occurs it belongs with the doppelganger and second-self material rather than with the rest of this record.
The shadow acts before the dreamer does, or does something different, or stays when they move. Dreamers describe this as a different order of wrongness from a mismatched shadow, and the reports carry real fear rather than unease.
That distinction is worth preserving when logging. A shadow that fails to agree is a rendering failure. A shadow that has intentions is a figure, and this database keeps figures separate for good reason.
This is not the shadow person of the Bestiary, which is a separate figure with its own consistent description and its own entry.
