Dreaming you reach somebody but cannot move them
Why could I not lift or pull somebody out in my dream?
The second obstacle, and dreamers find it crueller than the first because they arrived.
The person cannot be lifted, the water will not release them, hands do not close, the weight is impossible. Effort is total and produces nothing.
It is the grip failure the hands entry describes, arriving at the worst possible moment. During dreaming sleep the muscles are switched off, so intention and result come apart, and the dream renders that as a body that will not obey.
Worth logging next to the climbing and the running reports rather than as a dream about the person. What is being described is the same physics.
Where this reads well
Dreamers who see the pattern report these losing their sting, which matters more here than almost anywhere else in the database.
Where it is harder
Arriving and still failing is reported as worse than never arriving, and these are the ones that recur.
Worth asking yourself
What exactly would not work? Was it them, or my hands? Does my grip fail in other dreams?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
