Robbery

Dreaming about being robbed

What does it mean to dream somebody takes something from you by force?

The threat version, and it follows the standard pattern, frequently with the effort-failure elements: shouting with no sound, a punch with no force.

Those failures are the same ones the gun, knife and running entries describe. The body is switched off, so the intention returns nothing, and it arrives here at the moment of maximum need.

Two quite different dreams share this record's name. This one is about a person; the intrusion version is about a space, and most dreamers find the second more disturbing despite the first containing the actual danger.

That ordering is worth noticing, and it is consistent.

Where this reads well

Sorting the two apart explains why the less dangerous one feels worse.

Where it is harder

Standard threat distress, plus the effort failures.

Worth asking yourself

Was it a person or a place? Did my voice work? Which upset me more?

Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
