Why do I feel I must hide something in a dream with no idea what?
The purest version, and it belongs with the guilt and forgetting entries rather than with anything about concealment.
A compulsion with no object and no reason. The dreamer knows it must be hidden, knows nothing else, and does not question either fact.
That is the same shape as guilt with no offence, an arrest with no charge and the certainty that something important has been forgotten. In each, the feeling is complete and the thing that would justify it was never generated.
Reading those entries together is more convincing than any of them alone, because the same structure turns up in four unrelated settings with the same missing piece.
