What does it mean to dream something large is below you?

The shark entry finds the identical structure and reaches the same conclusion: the surface is doing the work. It is a boundary the dream never has to generate past, so nothing underneath was made, and the certainty about what is there is unearned.
Fish arrive attached to water, and in the reports the two are rarely separable. Dreamers describe the clarity, the depth, and whether they could see the bottom, and the creature is frequently secondary to all of it.
