Dreaming about trying to get through a crowd
What does it mean to dream you cannot get through a crowd?
The commonest version by a distance, and it is a movement dream rather than a people dream.
There is somewhere to be. The crowd is not hostile and is not paying any attention, and the dreamer makes no progress: carried the wrong way, turned round, slowed to nothing. Nobody obstructs them deliberately, which is the detail dreamers most often mention.
It belongs with the being-late material and the tangled-rope reports, where effort produces no result and the difficulty compounds. Log it with those rather than with the crowd itself, because that is where the pattern shows.
The crowd is the obstacle the dream had to hand. It is not about people.

A minority report giving up on the destination, and describe the dream easing immediately, which is consistent across this whole family.

The urgency is real and the destination is usually never reached, which is why these are remembered.

Where was I trying to get to? Did anybody actually block me? Did I ever arrive?
