Dreaming somebody was two people at once
What does it mean to dream somebody was also somebody else?
Almost every dreamer has had one and almost every dreamer assumes it is peculiar to them.
The reports are consistent and dreamers usually apologise for them, because the experience resists description: it was my mother, and it was also my colleague, and there was no conflict in that at the time.
Nobody should apologise for reporting this. It follows directly from how dream characters are made: identity is asserted rather than derived, so two assertions can be held at once because nothing checks them against each other.
The place-that-is-two-places entry describes the identical thing happening to a building, and dreamers who report one usually report the other.
Where this reads well
Dreamers are consistently relieved to hear how ordinary it is, having assumed the report made them sound confused.
Where it is harder
None. These are reported as interesting rather than troubling.
