What does it mean if you catch someone in a chase dream?
Rare, and where it is reported the dream usually ends at the moment of contact.
That ending is the pattern rather than the exception, and it matches the being-chased reports where capture almost never occurs. Both directions of this dream avoid the same event.
Dreams sustain the state before an event far better than they produce the event, which is why the fog delivers nothing, the queue never reaches the front and the threat rarely lands. Contact is a resolution, and resolutions end dreams.
The few reports that continue past contact describe the person becoming somebody else, or the urgency evaporating, both of which are consistent with there having been nothing there to catch.
