Dreaming about the inside of a castle
What does it mean to dream about being inside a castle?
Dreamers describe corridors, halls and stairs far more than they describe the outside, which puts a good deal of this material with the impossible-architecture reports.
Being inside a castle that keeps producing more of itself is common, and it is one of the clearer instances of the no-floor-plan finding: nothing holds a building's layout, so a dreamer who keeps walking keeps being given somewhere to walk.
The exterior is barely reported, which is telling. A castle is famous for how it looks from outside, and dreams supply almost none of it, because the dreamer is never out there to need it.
Detail is produced where attention is, and nowhere else. This record is one of the better demonstrations of that.
Where this reads well
A strong illustration of generation-on-demand, and easy to check in your own reports.
Where it is harder
Endless interiors are tiring and dreamers describe these as long.
Worth asking yourself
Did I ever see it from outside? How many rooms? Did the layout make sense?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
