Reports of this version are tender and are frequently described as leaving a good mood behind for some hours, which is unusual: dream affect normally fades faster than that.
It is the clearest counterweight to the forgotten-baby dream, and the two are the same image with the responsibility discharged rather than dropped.

Consistently pleasant. Dreamers who are not otherwise interested in children report it as warmly as anybody else.
Where it is harder
Where the dreamer is grieving a pregnancy or a child, the waking is the difficult part rather than the dream.
