Dreaming you are about to be found out
What does it mean to dream somebody is about to discover your secret?
The exposure version, and it does not resolve, which is the ordinary structure here.
Dreamers describe somebody knowing, or being about to know, and describe managing it: deflecting, positioning, waiting. Very few reports contain the moment of discovery.
That places these with the anticipation family rather than with the secret itself: the chase that never ends in capture, the knock never answered, the fog that delivers nothing. Dreams sustain the moment before extremely well.
The embarrassment entry describes the same shape with something visible at stake, and the hiding-a-pregnancy scenario describes it with a specific object. All three are one dream with different furniture.
Where this reads well
Where the dreamer does tell somebody, the reports usually resolve and dreamers describe real relief.
Where it is harder
Sustained anticipation is tiring, and these recur more than the other two versions here.
