Dreaming you know somebody's name without being told
How do I know names in dreams without hearing them?
The unearned-knowing pattern, arriving at the most checkable possible detail.
Nobody introduced them. No name was spoken. The dreamer knows it completely, and would write it down if asked.
That is the same machinery that supplies a stranger's occupation, a person's hostility, or the fact that somebody has died. Facts arrive attached to a character rather than derived from anything in the dream.
The someone-who-knows-you entry describes this from the other side, where a stranger knows the dreamer. Both are the same assertion made in different directions, and neither has any evidence underneath it.
Where this reads well
One of the clearest and most testable instances of unearned certainty in the database.
Where it is harder
None. Dreamers report this as ordinary until it is pointed out.
Worth asking yourself
Was the name ever spoken? Could I write it now? What else did I know about them?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
