Dreaming a hole appears where there was none
What does it mean to dream a hole opens up?
Reported, and accepted without objection at the time, which is a substantial impossibility passing entirely unremarked.
A floor that was whole is not. A wall has an opening. A garden has a shaft in it. Dreamers describe noticing and not questioning, and describe the strangeness arriving on waking.
That fits the talking-animal finding: large impossibilities pass, while small inconsistencies between two things that must agree, a shadow and a light, a clock read twice, frequently do not.
The dream is not tracking the previous state of the floor. There is nothing to contradict, so nothing objects.
Where this reads well
Another clean case of what does and does not tip a dreamer off, and it is easy to spot once described.
Where it is harder
Where the dreamer is at risk of falling in, these join the falling material and become considerably worse.
Worth asking yourself
Did I question it? Was I in danger from it? When did it seem strange?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
