Dreaming about the size of a whale
What does it mean to dream about something enormous in the water?
Scale is the first report, and dreamers describe it in terms of their own smallness rather than the animal's size.
That inversion is the reportable part. The bear reports describe the animal as large and correct upward; these describe the dreamer as small. Same fact, opposite framing, and it recurs consistently enough to be a property of the image.
Proximity without threat is the third theme and distinguishes these sharply from the shark reports. A whale close to the dreamer is described with awe rather than fear, in water that would be frightening with anything else in it.
Which is more evidence that the shark dreams were about the water rather than the animal.
Where this reads well
Among the genuinely awe-inducing dreams people report, and worth logging in full.
Where it is harder
None commonly reported.
Worth asking yourself
Was I frightened? Did I describe it as big, or myself as small? How close was it?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
