A place of worship

Dreaming about your own place of worship

What does it mean to dream about the mosque, temple or church you attend?

For observant dreamers these are ordinary settings and are reported without any special charge, in the same way a kitchen is.

That is the most important thing this entry can say, and it goes first because dream dictionaries almost universally get it wrong.

A mosque to somebody who prays in one is not a symbol. It is a building they are in every week, and it turns up in their dreams for exactly the reason their workplace and their kitchen do: continuity. People dream about where they spend time.

Reading it as spiritual content would be like reading somebody's dream of their own office as a symbol of labour. The reports simply do not support it.

Where this reads well

Correcting this is worth more than any interpretation, and observant dreamers usually recognise it immediately.

Where it is harder

None.

Worth asking yourself

Is this somewhere I actually go? Was anything unusual happening? Did it feel ordinary?

Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
