Dreaming about opening a case that is not yours
What does it mean to dream a suitcase has somebody else's things in it?
A smaller group, described with a flat puzzlement rather than alarm, which is the reportable feature.
The case opens and the contents belong to somebody else. Dreamers describe examining them, sometimes at length, and describe no particular emotion. Very few report trying to find the owner.
The absence of alarm is what distinguishes this from the bag reports where something unexpected turns up. Here the dreamer accepts the situation entirely, which is ordinary dream behaviour and only looks strange afterwards.
Lost luggage is a different report again, arrives with travel dreams, and belongs with the material about being somewhere unfamiliar without what you need.
