What does it mean to dream someone is in your home?
The intruder dream, and one of the most common threat dreams there is. The house-as-self reading applies as it does with snakes and fire.
The critical question is whether this was a dream (a narrative you were inside) or a presence you sensed while lying in your actual bed, unable to move. Dreamers conflate the two constantly and the conflation causes real distress.

Where the intruder is silent and simply present rather than acting, that is characteristic of the sleep-paralysis pattern rather than of an ordinary dream.
Worth asking yourself
Could I move? Was I in my actual bedroom? Did they do anything, or just stand there?
