What does it mean to dream you are wearing the wrong thing?
The subtler and, oddly, more excruciating variant. Not naked but wrong: pyjamas at work, one shoe, a wedding outfit at a funeral.
Dreamers frequently report this as harder to bear than nakedness, possibly because it is more plausible. A naked dream is obviously a dream; a wrong-clothes dream feels like something that could actually happen.
