Dreaming about seeing water between the planks
What does it mean to dream you can see through the ground you are walking on?
The gaps between boards are reported unprompted with striking regularity, and dreamers describe looking down through them.
That detail is the entry. It is small, specific, repeated, and nobody would think to invent it, which is what makes it worth writing down: reports that converge on an incidental feature are better evidence than reports that converge on a dramatic one.
It puts these next to the ice material: something underfoot that is not solid, seen through rather than stood on.
The pier takes the dreamer out over water without putting them in it, which is the whole of its function here.
Where this reads well
An unusually convincing convergence, and a good example of what makes a detail worth trusting.
Where it is harder
Seeing through the ground is reported as quietly destabilising rather than frightening.
Worth asking yourself
Did I look down? Could I see water? Was I aware of the boards?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
