Dreaming the house next door joins onto yours
What does it mean to dream your house connects to your neighbour's?
A distinct and frequently reported version, and it belongs with the impossible-geography material.
A door that should be a wall. A landing that continues into the next building. Rooms that turn out to be theirs. Dreamers accept it entirely at the time and report it as strange only on waking.
This is the extra-space pattern the attic, garden and cave entries describe, with the addition that the extra space belongs to somebody else, which is what gives it a slight unease the others lack.
Noise appears in a minority of reports, and that is worth checking against the actual sleeping environment, since real sound is readily incorporated into dream content.
