Dreaming about moths trying to get in
What does it mean to dream something is at the window?
A small and quite eerie group: moths on the outside of the glass, trying to get in.
The pane is doing the work, and the glass entry describes it: something separates without concealing. The dreamer can see them perfectly and they cannot reach, which is the same configuration the face-at-the-window reports use.
That record finds the same image with a person in it, and dreamers report both with the same quality of unease. A barrier that removes the danger and not the attention is more unsettling than either alone.
Nothing gets in, in the great majority of reports.
