Dreaming that your reflection isn't you
What does it mean to dream your reflection is someone else?
The most reported mirror dream and the most unsettling to describe afterwards, because the wrongness is usually specific and small: the face is nearly right.
Dreamers commonly report knowing it was them and knowing it was not, simultaneously, without contradiction. That double knowledge is characteristic of dreaming and is worth noticing rather than trying to resolve.
Where this reads well
Where the other face is kind, or older, or a relative, dreamers frequently report the dream as meaningful rather than frightening.
Where it is harder
Where the face is a stranger who seems aware of being looked at, this shades into the doppelgänger material.
Worth asking yourself
Whose face was it? What did I know about them, without being told?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
