Dreaming your interviewer is somebody you know
Why was my interviewer somebody from my personal life?
Reported frequently and puzzled over: the interviewer is a friend, a relative, an ex-teacher, somebody with no connection to work at all.
This is the availability finding that runs through the people entries. A dream needs a figure to occupy a role and takes one it has to hand, without regard to whether the casting makes sense. The old-boss reports show the same thing from the other side.
Dreamers look for significance in the choice and rarely find any. The more informative question is what the person was doing rather than who they were, because the role is what the dream constructed and the face is what it borrowed.
Where the interviewer has no face at all, the faceless-person material applies and describes a quite different experience.

Redirecting attention from who to what usually resolves it, and it is a habit worth carrying into the rest of a journal.
Where it is harder
None, beyond the puzzlement, which is mild.
Worth asking yourself
What were they doing, rather than who were they? Did the casting make any sense? Did I question it at the time?
