Dreaming about wearing jewellery belonging to somebody else
What does it mean to dream you are wearing somebody else's things?
A third theme, and it belongs with the ownership material that runs through the whole clothing section.
The hat, the coat, the wardrobe and the suitcase all produce it: an object whose owner is known without evidence, worn or held by a dreamer who did not acquire it.
What jewellery adds is intimacy. A coat is borrowed easily and a ring is not, so the reports carry more transgression, and dreamers frequently describe wanting to take it off.
Where the owner has died, this reads as closeness rather than trespass, which is the same split the coat entry finds.
Where this reads well
The alive-or-dead distinction changes the reading entirely and is easy to record.
Where it is harder
The transgression version produces a guilt with nothing behind it, as the drawer entry finds.
Worth asking yourself
Whose was it? Are they still alive? Did I want it off?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
