Dreaming about a gap you cannot close
What does it mean to dream the curtains will not shut properly?
A third group, and it belongs with the exposure material.
The gap remains. Dreamers describe pulling them repeatedly and a strip of window that will not be covered, and describe the sense of being visible from outside.
That combines two families: the thing that will not work, and being seen. The face-at-the-window reports supply the second half, and dreamers frequently report both in one dream.
Nobody is usually out there, which is the consistent finding across every being-watched report here: the watcher is not generated because the watching is what the dream needed.
Where this reads well
A clean overlap of two well-described families, and both explanations apply.
Where it is harder
Feeling visible with no way to fix it is a specific and recurring discomfort.
Worth asking yourself
Did the gap close? Was anybody out there? Did I keep trying?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
