A narrow passage opens into a chamber far larger than it should be, sometimes with water in it, sometimes with light that has no source. Dreamers describe stopping, looking, and frequently report these as among the most beautiful things they have dreamt.
This is the extra-space pattern that runs right through the house material: attics with rooms, gardens past the fence, wings nobody knew about. Dreams do not check a space against what contains it.
