Dreaming about a long journey with no beginning or end
What does it mean to dream you are already travelling?
Distance and duration are reported, and dreamers describe a journey underway rather than beginning or ending.
There is no departure and no arrival. The dream starts in the middle of something long, and dreamers frequently cannot say where they set out from or where they are going.
That is ordinary dream construction described unusually clearly. Dreams begin in the middle because the route to a place is never generated until somebody asks, which the roof and getting-lost entries both describe.
What the camel adds is duration: these reports carry a sense of a great deal of time having already passed, which is the same asserted-elapsed-time the dust and turtle entries supply.
Where this reads well
An unusually clear view of dreams starting mid-scene, which most reports obscure.
Where it is harder
Endless-journey reports are tiring and dreamers describe waking unrested.
Worth asking yourself
Where had I come from? Where was I going? How long did it feel?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
