Dreaming you are invisible and cannot stop it
What does it mean to dream nobody can see you and you want them to?
The unchosen version, and it is the being-ignored dream. That entry covers it in full and is the better page.
The mechanism is the same as the scenario above and the experience is the opposite. Dreamers describe escalating: speaking, shouting, standing in front of somebody, touching them, and changing nothing.
Two things are worth carrying across. The world stays entirely ordinary while it happens, which dreamers describe as the disturbing part. And they frequently cannot say whether they made a sound, which ties this to the speech-failure material.
Where the dreamer is also dead in the dream, the being-dead-and-still-there scenario describes the same content with a different frame around it.
Where this reads well
Where somebody finally notices, the relief is reported vividly, and it is the clue to what the dream was about.
Where it is harder
The escalation is exhausting and dreamers frequently wake mid-effort.
Worth asking yourself
Did I choose this? How hard did I try? Did anybody eventually see me?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
