Why is everybody the age they used to be?
Settings and people follow the age together, which is the package finding stated from the cast side.
The sibling entry finds age regression reported far more for siblings than for parents. The teacher entry finds adults naming specific teachers forty years on. The grandparent entry finds a house that no longer exists reproduced in detail.
All three are the same phenomenon: a period arriving intact, with its rooms, its people and its ages attached.
That complicates the availability finding without contradicting it. Current exposure predicts who appears now; old material persists indefinitely alongside it, and arrives as a unit rather than piecemeal.
Where this reads well
Holding both findings together is more accurate than either alone, and both are visible in most journals.
Where it is harder
Where somebody in the period has since died, waking is harder than the dream.
Worth asking yourself
Was everybody the right age for the period? What else arrived with them? Whose house was it?
