Why did being stung hurt in my dream?
The sting is the pivot of this record, and it is reported with a sharpness that is unusual.
It is one of the very few images that reliably produces dream pain, alongside thorns and walking on broken glass. Dreams under-report pain badly: the wound entry finds people inspecting serious injuries and feeling nothing at all.
Three exceptions, and all three are many small points of contact or one very small one, rather than a large injury. That may be doing something and this database cannot establish it from reports.
Recording whether it genuinely hurt is worth more than any reading, because the list of exceptions is short enough that one more report matters.
