Bed

Dreaming somebody is in the bed with you

What does it mean to dream somebody else is in your bed?

Reported often, and the identity is frequently unclear in a way dreamers find hard to describe.

Somebody is there. The dreamer knows who, or knows they should know, or knows it is not who it should be. Very few reports include a face, which is consistent with how poorly dreams render them.

Where the reports include being unable to move, or a certainty that somebody is present without any sighting, this is the paralysis material and not a dream about a bed. That distinction matters more here than almost anywhere, because the two feel identical from the inside.

Where the person is a partner and something is wrong with them, the partner entry covers that and describes it more usefully.

Where this reads well

Sorting which of the three explanations applies is achievable from the reports, and it changes what the dream was entirely.

Where it is harder

Where it is the paralysis version, this is one of the more frightening experiences people have.

Worth asking yourself

Could I move? Did I see a face? Was I sure who it was?

Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
