Dreaming about an attic with more rooms in it
What does it mean to dream the attic is bigger than the house?
Reported often enough to be its own scenario: the attic is larger than the building allows, and contains further rooms.
Dreamers describe this without objection at the time. The house is the house, and the roof space above it is somehow a floor with corridors in it, and nothing in the dream registers a problem.
It is the same construction as the hidden-room dreams, and dreamers who report one usually report the other. Dreams do not hold a building's plan in mind and check new rooms against it. Space is produced where attention goes, and there is nothing to say it should stop at the roofline.
The finding is what people remember, but the geometry is the more interesting half, and almost nobody writes it down.
Where this reads well
One of the better things in this database to keep a long journal about, since recurring dream houses can actually be mapped.
Where it is harder
None reported. Dreamers describe these as absorbing rather than unsettling.
Worth asking yourself
How much space was up there? Could I draw it? Does the same attic come back?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
