What does it mean to dream about being arrested or blamed?
You are being held responsible, and the dream rarely tells you for what. Reports describe the accusation as total and unexplained. Nobody says what you did, and arguing does not help.
The absence of a stated charge is the consistent feature, and it separates this from dreams about specific guilt. People frequently describe knowing they are innocent and being unable to make that matter.
That structure, a judgement you cannot appeal, is what people carry into waking, more than any detail of the scene.
Where this reads well
The innocence is usually clear to the dreamer throughout. The dream does not generally convince you that you did it.
Where it is harder
If it recurs alongside real conflict, note the timing in the log. That is more useful than deciding what the accusation stood for.

Did I know what I was accused of? Who was accusing me? Could I speak?
