Dreaming about a game whose rules you do not know
What does it mean to dream everybody knows the rules but you?
The clearest statement of something the first-day, examination and competition entries each describe in part.
Games in dreams have rules the dreamer does not know and cannot ask about, and everybody else appears to know them.
Dreamers describe playing anyway rather than asking, which is the same social competence the someone-who-knows-you entry notes: the dreamer improvises rather than admitting they are lost.
That is the refusing finding in its most everyday form. Almost nobody in this database declines, questions or asks, and a game is where the cost of not asking is most visible.

The single best place to see the missing-evaluation pattern, because the alternative is so obvious.
Where it is harder
The improvisation is exhausting and dreamers report these as effortful.
Worth asking yourself
Did I ask? Did I play anyway? What did everybody else seem to know?
